Aspects of Taxation

 

What are the aspects of taxation?

(1)  Levying or imposition of the tax which is a legislative act; and (principle to levy)

(2)  Assessment (you cannot collect unless there is an assessment; merely a notice of tax liability)

(3)  Collection of the tax levied which is essentially administrative in character
